Quality Manager

We are looking for a Quality Manager with experience in medical devices strongly preferred.
The Quality Manager takes a data driven approach to deliver quality initiatives and acts as a change agent in the organization, while managing (2) Quality Specialists.
The Quality Manager is responsible for the administration, oversight of quality control and release of finished product, supplier quality/ auditing, non-conforming material.
Applying risk management principles (ISO 14971), and an advocate of continuous improvement.
Additionally experience desired in design assurance for new product development including design transfer process.
Hours and Status:
The normal schedule is Monday through Friday with some flexibility on start and end times.
This is a full time, benefits eligible position.

Must have a BS degree in Engineering or related Bachelor's degree.
10 to 15 years' experience in a Quality Management role with medical device experience (Class 1 and 2) strongly preferred along with knowledge of FDA 21CFR 820, ISO 13485, ISO 9001, ISO 14971 and IEC 60601.
American Society for Quality (ASQ) QE, Internal auditor ISO 13485/ISO 9001 and Six sigma, lean manufacturing certification preferred.
The proven ability to drive quality improvement in a manufacturing environment with advanced computer skills, investigation and root cause analysis, trending analysis, project and Quality System software are required.
Physical requirements include the ability to sit/stand/walk for extended periods of time on a daily basis.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
